This Fortune 25 services company wanted to shore up its already populated future growth opportunity pipelline. Tthey knew that future growth is partly dependent on uncovering wholly new, white space, revenue opportunities they did not previously have visibility to and pushing the envelope of their assets and capabilities relative to these opportunities. Vaxa was asked to use its experiene in Opportunity Exploration to surface a portfolio of opportunities the company did not previoyusly have visibility to. The project was particularly challenging since the team wanted a first pass at the portfolio within a matter of weeks. This placed Vaxa in the hot seat since we had to balance speed with depth of analysis but yet be accurate enough so we generated clarity and confidence around the most attractive opportunities. Open, clear, and direct communications were critical to the success of the project.
		There are many different ways to uncover fresh growth opportunities.In this case, it was decided to use megatrends analysis as the conduit to gain foresight and surface hidden insights into new revenue pools. The Vaxa team adapted our trends process together with the client to meet the project deadline. This adaptation also provided a hidden benefit for the client team since they gained a wholly new way to perform this type of analysis in the future, independent of outside help, To dissect each MegaTrend, Vaxa designed and lead several Thought Leader Panels with experts from Industry, Academia, NGOs, Think Tanks, and Governments. Additionally, we conducted many in-depth interviews to more deeply explore specific issues. The outcomes from the primary research was integrated into a significant amount of secondary research. Opportunity pools were created based on the analysis of this research. Quantitative models were developed to forecast and prioritize a universe of opportunities.
