  • It was imperative that Integrator Inc., a Fortune 200 solutions provider, had access to latest industry technologies and products for its solutions. The decision was to form many partnership to get access and acquire such technologies.
  • Vaxa was asked to develop a process to identify such companies. The result was to focus on the world's leading venture capital (VC) companies who invested in the industry that was of most interest.
Approach
  • Analyzed over 5000 VCs from US, Europe, andAsia-Pacific.
  • Developed an attribute-based model to determine the level of fit of each VC firms' allocation of investments with Integrator Inc. long term objectives.
  • Interviewed twenty (20) corporations who leveraged VC investments to develop a set of best practices for leveraging such strategies and tactics.
Outcome
  • Identified the top twenty-five (25) whose historical and future fund investment were aligned with the client's goals.
  • Prioritization of VC firm for immediate and longer term equity investments based on the investment attribute-based model.
  • A database of over 5000 venture capital companies that is continuously updated.
Client Results
  • Invested in over twelve (12) VC funds in North America and Europe.
  • Developd the capacity to get access and rights of first refusal to new and emerging technologies from emerging companies.
